Strongly inspired by American vernacular culture, I employed miniature sets and figurines to illustrate narrative scenes.
The photographs present these scenes as a reflection of family life, exploring a tenuous relationship between memory and truth, between emotion and expression. Each tells its own small story.
The complete installation included my original photographs, displayed with everyday artifacts, short fiction and found images.
